This policy explains the cookies and similar storage technologies (such as browser local storage) that the SpotSense website uses.

We use your browser's local/session storage and Firebase authentication storage to keep you signed in (including anonymous guest sessions used for bookings made without an account), remember a booking you're tracking on this device, and remember your notification preference. These are essential for the site to function and cannot be switched off.

We use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics) to understand how the site and booking flow are used — for example, which steps of booking are completed or abandoned — so we can improve them. This sets a device identifier and may collect approximate location (city-level, from IP address), device/browser type, and pages visited.

We do not link this to Google Ads or use it to build an advertising profile of you, and it is never combined with your name, health information, or booking details. You can limit this in your browser via cookie-blocking settings or an analytics opt-out extension (e.g. Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on).

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Our site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may process your IP address as part of serving the font files, subject to Google's own privacy practices.

You can clear cookies/local storage at any time from your browser settings; doing so will sign you out and clear any locally-remembered booking reference.
